This is one of our absolute favourites near Slickers. Starting at the wide, sandy sweep of Daymer Bay, this route follows the South West Coast Path around Stepper Point and down into Padstow, with constant views across the Camel Estuary.
You’ll experience a mix of open beach, rugged headland and sheltered estuary scenery - a brilliant combination if you want variety in one walk. As you round Stepper Point, you get that classic view back towards Rock and across the water before dropping into Padstow Harbour.

This walk is ideal for steady dogs who enjoy a mix of beach time and coastal paths. It’s long enough to feel like an adventure, but manageable for most reasonably fit dogs and owners.
