Delivery charges
We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of your purchase, please allow unto 5 days for delivery. For all preorders we do ask you to allow for up to 14 days for your delivery to arrive, on rare occasions we may need to contact you regarding your order.
UK mainland
Orders up to £49.99 are delivered for £4.99.
Orders from £50.00 to £99.99 are delivered for £6.99. Please note, a small number of larger items carry a fixed shipping charge of £10.00.
Orders over £100.00 are delivered for £9.99.
Jersey & Guernsey & non mainland UK
Orders between £0 - £49.99 are delivered within 21 working days, delivery charge is £10.00, however there are a select few individual items with a fixed shipping charge of £70.00 due to their size.
Orders between £50.00 - £99.99 are delivered within 21 working days, delivery charge is £30.00
Orders over £100.00 are delivered within 21 working days, delivery charge is £70.00
European Continent

Returns
Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all labels attached.
Products returned must be unused/unopened, in original condition, and all tags and labels intact. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please ensure when sending back a return you include a note of your name, order number or copy of instore receipt and whether you would like a refund or exchange.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.
- Perishable goods such as food and treats cannot be returned.
- Shampoos, colognes, b-balm, and other hygiene products subject to return restrictions.

- Some health and personal care items
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, please be aware this is subject to the normal banking system and may take up to 4 working days.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted including (if applicable):
- Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded unless approved.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at admin@slickersdoghouse.co.uk
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

My partner and I ordered this for our 9 week old boxer puppy. We had to restart his vaccinations process which meant carrying him for walks and trips out for a month. My partner is 6.5 so we ordered the large long sling. It has been perfect for our socialisation period. Our puppy is only just getting too big now at 14 weeks and 14kg. Would recommend!!
Ordered the black tweed, large regular. Rang on Friday and spoke with a lovely friendly gentleman. He was so helpful, explaining the sling size to me. Ordered it straight away after speaking with him and it arrived today, Sunday! Very well packed. Our wonderful dog, is a 13 year old Bolognese. He is approximately 6kg. Unfortunately, he has cancer and we didn’t want the sling to be clinging to his body, possibly causing pain and discomfort. Obviously Raphaello’s needs were the most important. Then myself and husband came next. I’m 5ft 4” and my husband is 5ft 10”. We both wanted to be able to use the sling. It’s perfect for us both. A little higher on my husband but that is no problem. It’s excellent quality. We love the fact it is made in Britain. It is so well made. The strap is wide and comfortable. Love the fact there is a clasp to attach to Raphaello’s collar. The material is strong, soft and comfortable for Raphaello. Tested it out today around the house. Treats were used so Raphaello was extra happy! There was ample room for Raphaello. He put his paw out and looked so comfortable! He was so relaxed and loves being carried close to your body. It was so comfortable to wear for the both of us. There was no pressure on our backs. We supported his body with our hands. It’s like giving him a cuddle all the time! It will certainly help us all, particularly Raphaello who can’t walk too far now. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend. Raphaello says woof woof too!
Lovely quality dog sling. Looks well made and with a cosy blanket inside, will be great for our puppy. Fits comfortably with a wide shoulder strap.
Customer service was fantastic - really helpful! Sling is great quality - my dog is close to the maximum recommended size and weight, but still happy in it. Her leg was recently injured by a car accident, and this has made our frequent vet and physio trips easier and much more comfortable.
Really disappointed, sadly our puppy keeps coming out of it and we can’t use it or return so sorry to say not great 😖
Sorry you felt the need to leave a one star review. After you emailed me, explaining that you were struggling with your puppy in the sling. You told me it had been used it twice before realising it wasn't suitable. I regretfully informed you at that time of our returns policy which is published on our website, stating that we cannot refund used products, though we are happy to refund unused products and have done so many times for customers finding the sling unsuitable or requiring alternative sized slings. I did also mention that we have had Labrador puppies and 16kg whippets successfully use this size so I am surprised you’re not finding it unsuitable.
